Hi. I’m Susan Toft, CEO of The Laundry Lady. I started The Laundry Lady as a solution to helping busy families find the time, flexibility and balance in their lives.
Established on the Gold Coast (Australia) in 2012, I was a new mum with a toddler and a full-time job with interstate travel. The spare room was a dumping ground for the clean washing, never folded and put away, where I’d rummage every morning feeling the stress of finding something to wear. I knew there would be other mums and families out there facing the same struggles to keep on top of their laundry.
I was also struggling with the work / life balance not missing out on all the good stuff of being a mum, sports days and school pickups. I know many mums who go through this same life struggle in their return to work.
That’s when the Laundry Lady was born – a solution that could save time and flexibility both for customers needing their laundry done quickly and easily with the touch of a button, and for our network of Laundry Ladies and Lads who service them.
We’re an award winning mobile laundry service offering washing and ironing, pickup and delivery with easy online booking. With 10 years experience in Australia, we’re proud to now launch our services to New Zealand in 2023.
We understand the last thing you want to spend your nights and weekends doing is ironing and washing clothes. All of our Laundry Ladies and Lads are insured.
Your local Laundry Lady or Lad will pick up your laundry from your home or workplace, take it home to wash, dry, fold or iron it and deliver it back to you folded or pressed. We can also pickup towels and sheets from small business.
